Residential Energy Efficiency Credit Line (REECL) 3 in Bulgaria
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has relaunched its more than ten years old financing facility for energy efficiency measures REECL. REECL 3 provides EUR 20 million for loans for incentive grants to private home owners, apartment owner associations and ESCO companies. Borrowers who have successful implemented energy efficiency measures or installed renewable energy facilities like solar water heaters can get between 10% and 20% of their loan amount as incentive grant. For this purpose the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund provides additional EUR 4.4 million.
