Dear Solarthermalworld.org Reader,
Just
four weeks from now, Abu Dhabi will host this year’s largest solar
heating and cooling event. Between 30 October and 2 November, the SHC
2017 organised by the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling programme will run
in parallel to the ISES Solar World Congress. Many experts from
different backgrounds – such as policy advocacy, industry, consulting,
research and financing – have confirmed their attendance and will be the
conference’s keynote speakers. Additionally, international panels will share insights into upcoming technologies and emerging trends. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to gain knowledge, contacts and visibility!
You can find the day-by-day programme, including 30 technical sessions and three forums, online.
A high point will be the industry forum on Wednesday, 1 November,
between 2 and 3.30 pm, where attendees can learn about business
opportunities for large-scale solar thermal. On Sunday, 29 October,
there will also be a technical tour of Shams 1, a 100 MW CSP plant equipped with parabolic trough collectors. (photo: pixabay.com)
Have a good read and sunny regards
