It supplies and covers the essential information on how the different types of solar thermal water heating technologies.
The report explains the three most common collector systems used in residential settings, flat-plate collectors, integral collectors and evacuated tubes. Also explained is the difference between direct circulation and indirect circulation in active systems, and how they differ from technologies used in passive solar thermal systems. Ending the report are tips on how to properly select a solar thermal water heater for different scenarios and things to consider regarding installation.
