Prince Charles Hospital Solar Energy Feasibility Study (2008)

Submitted by Todd Costello on February 24, 2010

This report was prepared for the Prince Charles Hospital in Wales. The whole report is a site appraisal assessment for outfitting the hospital with solar water heating.

Within the appraisal, it is estimated that a well designed solar thermal system can contribute up to 70 percent of the annual energy needs required for the production of domestic hot water. They have suggestions for collector positioning and orientation for best results, along with roofing measurements.

It also provides system sizing information for Prince Charles Hospital and benefit analysis and recommendations for which system would be best suited for the Hospital.
