AET Solar is one of the largest solar thermal collector manufactures in the US. According to the presentation, solar thermal is the only solar energy technology that is viable on its own without government incentives, and this is reflected in the company’s success. One interesting innovation of the companies is a free standing solar thermal hot water tank that can be used in emergency management and natural disasters scenarios or for construction sites that do not have access to running hot water.
