This fact sheet comes from the Solar Thermal Alliance of Colorado. It takes a look at the potential for economic growth created by the solar thermal market in terms of jobs in the industry and ancillary economic activity related to solar thermal.
According to the fact sheet, Colorado has one of the top climates for solar thermal usage. If Colorado were to increase awareness of solar thermal, create some financial incentives for use, and remove local impediments to installation, solar thermal could be a boon to Colorado’s economy. Specifically, jobs in installation, manufacturing, and research could all be created in Colorado with an expanded solar thermal market.
